Bio: Short version
Mar. 4th, 2016 09:51 pmLittle Calvin Amity was an odd boy who possessed incredible intelligence, an endless enthusiasm for anything he chose to do, and a complete devotion to his poor, ailing mother, who took great care of him despite her terrible health. Sorely lacking in appreciation for just how intelligent her son was and a woman of a down-to-earth disposition, she was never prouder than when her super genius offspring became a dentist.
Little did she suspect that to blow off steam Doctor Calvin Amity was Doctor Calamity, mad scientist with a fantastic smile and friendly attitude! Dedicated to causing trouble for trouble's sake, Dr Calamity is one of the world's best known super villains known for his fantastic schemes, incredible inventions and even better people skills.
As his age has started to catch up to him, Cal spends most of his time running the Calamity College for Catastrophic Criminals, an all-ages supervillain school. It's very popular, with his excellent connections in the devious underground of villainy ensuring many guest teachers.
Abilities:
Overall, Calvin is the world's 4th smartest person. He is the world’s greatest dentist and extremely competent in nearly every other field of science, Calvin’s powerful imagination serves him well. His outside-of-the-box inventions and planning often take the world by surprise. Many consider him the only true rival to Dick Deer, the world's smartest and heroic genius, as Cal's unconventional approaches and motivations have led the pair to have an uncommonly even win-loss ratio when they clash. Cal, like Dick Deer, has no one area he specialises in. Whilst his creations are often not quite so potent as those above him in the genius list, nor his discoveries as numerous, he can often outdo them thanks to his unorthodox approach to life and science. He is also possibly the world’s greatest strategist and tactician, particularly famous for how effective teams of supervillains under his command are. However, from a scientific standpoint, his creations are often less powerful than his rivals, relying on more masterful deployment.
